When building web pages, I find it helps to have resources readily available to expedite the process of learning and making new things happen. Since I mostly use Notepad for all my HTML Editing, I occasionally need a reminder on some of the more obscure tags. A few of the resources I use are listed below.

There is some beginning information in here, but it gets advanced fairly
quickly. The goal of this site is to share technical information for the
people that build web sites every day. This is a definitely a must see,
but not the first site to be seen.

W3Schools.com is an excellent site designed to provide free instruction
on how to build web pages. Most every topic is covered, including
HTML, XML, Style Sheets, scripts, and more. The information is
arranged in a way that makes everything very easy to locate. This
arrangment makes the site invaluable to anyone creating web pages.
If ever the final word is needed about HTML, this is the place to look.

There is a great deal of information about HTML standards, as well as some
handy tools that will verify that your HTML meets those standards.
