A paint job can make or break a project. It's the first thing you see on any vehicle. When done correctly, it can make a project really stand out.
I started this hobby a couple of years ago. I happened across a beginners class that included hands on training. I would provide a link except that company has since gone out of business. Since that time, I have mostly been making test panels and getting used to handling the taping and the airbrush. I found a deal on blank metal license plates, which work really well for this.
These are just a couple of panels I did to test some ideas.

These are some closeups of the recently finished front fender of my motorcycle. The full bike can be viewed on the Yamaha XS650 page.

If you want to keep up to date on the latest trends in the Airbrush industry, I recommend AutoGraphics Magazine. This publication covers the cool new stuff people are doing as well as providing guides on how to do some of that stuff.
This is the paint I use. I like this paint because it comes premixed in a lot of
custom colors. There is also a lot of technical information available.
