I originally purchased these cylinders, heads, and overhead cam shaft for my 1982 Yamaha XS650. I had been researching upgrades and improvements for these bikes, and I was very intrigued by the possibility of installing a big bore kit and rephasing the motor. As luck would have it, I sold the bike before I could get to these projects. So now I have this set that I no longer need.
For the most part, this set is in good condition. There is a little bit of rust around the bottom edge of the piston sleaves and on the exhaust bolts. Otherwise, the whole set looks to be in good shape. All of the cooling fins are intact, all moving parts seem to work correctly, and I do not see any other damage to speak of. Take a close look at the pictures to see for yourself.
